Our weekend was wonderful. How was yours? We visited with friends and had lots of fun. Our youngest daughter, A, was proposed to. She is only 2 but her little boyfriend did ask her daddy if it was OK before hand. It was so cute. But daddy said he had to come back in 35 years to ask again. So even though he was a little gentleman, A is not engaged.
We also did some rearranging and organizing to get ready for that Christmas surprise I've been working on.
Before shot of closet:
Yeah, it doesn't look that bad, I know.
But little do you know there are two loads of clean laundry waiting to be folded.
There's no point in folding these clothes, they won't fit anywhere. And if I do get them into the drawers they don't close.
Yes, they are nice pieces of furniture. And yes, they have worked for us up until now. But something has got to change.
So....
Out with the old and in with the new. New shelves, new drawers, and look at that-the hamper fits in there too.
M, C, and A were ecstatic to see they have room for some more toys in their bedroom now.
They even decorated for Christmas!
By the way, I got to do some more work down in "Santa's Workshop" too. And you guys are going to love this surprise. I can't wait until it's finished to show you all. Stay tuned, my goal is to be finished by next weekend!
