What is your family Christmas tradition?

My family has a Christmas tradition, does yours, if so what is it? Leave a comment below to share your traditions.

Every year just after Thanksgiving we head to Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland to pick out our annual ornaments. Everyone gets to pick out their absolute favorite one. Since we have 5 in our family the kids get to take theirs when they move out. That way they won't have a naked Christmas tree like we did our first Christmas together. Sometimes these trips are quick because we know exactly what we want, other times it takes a while to decide.

M always picks a Grinch related ornament. She absolutely loves the movie.  If I didn't put our Christmas movies away with our Christmas stuff I'm sure we would watch it a million times a year.

C has been on a purple kick for the last couple of years. This year is the very adorable, glittery purple octopus. Last year it was a purple star spinner.

And A seems to love the candy snowmen. This year is a peanut butter cup, while last year was sitting on a cupcake.

The Hubster always picks out something unique. From this wooden present to the strange Santa to the silly snowman. If it's unique and different it's in our basket for him.

And finally my contribution to the tree. I love the glitter ornaments. The way the lights reflect put me in a good mood. We like to call our Christmas tree theme "Wild and Crazy" because of all the diversity on it.

And finally...
Here is another clue to yesterdays post:

These crocheted apples will also be used with it. You can find the pattern for the apples in Amigurumi World: Seriously Cute Crochet as well.
